I was looking through old files to finish/edit for my alpha!daverose amv and when I saved this one to a new folder it got all corrupted. Thought it was kinda neat though.

Thought I would put these two together in a photoset. Crockercorp Alpha Rose & Dave, aka your worst fucking nightmare.
EDIT: in this crockercorp AU post-failed-game-Condesce-wins every character is either mindcontrolled or killed and then their image is repurposed in the new world as revenge. Dave & Rose were separated at first, but it was found that they fought more against the control, or realised that something was ‘missing’ while separated. So they were quickly reunited and found to be far more pliant in each others’ company – codependence basically taken to the next level.
Dave especially responds better to things that Rose is involved in: his less dubious moral compass following her extremely dubious moral judgement even if he may feels occasional pangs of ill conscience. As shown by her descent into grimdarkness: Rose is far easier to twist and warp into chasing a path she shouldn’t follow, and Dave follows her regardless of how well the control really holds him. Maybe he realises what he is doing sometimes. Maybe.

Fighting side by side. Trusting each other completely. Trying to protect each other. Casual banter in the middle of a fight. Their teamwork. Sparring each other to keep their skills sharp. Getting uncontrollably angry if the other gets hurt. Kissing each other when they’re victorious.
I seriously have a thing for battle couples.
